As the name indicates, this department performs the function of storing all the essential toolings, rough materials - steel & other materials, coolants, oils, cotton waste, safety aid, etc. used in the daily production schedule. All the materials stored in this department are first ordered for when the stock is low. When a material is required, a requisition is sent to the stores person, who issues the material after approval.
